We  have been  in Flores for the past 12 days . On the first we went to an island called Rincha ( 1 of the only 2 islands in the world were the Komodo dragon exists) . We saw about 10 of the dragons they where quite scary, but very lazy! We then made our way up to Bajawa were we went on a tour and saw how they grow cacao bean coffee bean and vanilla bean! It is a very mountainous place.Yesterday we climbed a mountain called Kelimutu.Up the top were 3 different colored lakes, one was bright aqua! The other 2 were brown and dark black , in the rainy season they can also be red! Tomorrow we fly back to Bali then to Sulawesi.

Hi Freya, sounds like you are seeing some amazing things - I’ve never seen a real Komodo dragon (but I’ve seen them on TV! Not nearly as good as the real thing, I am sure). They are endangered, aren’t they? Did you get some good photos? We’d love you to post a couple if you can (or email them to me and I’ll post for you.)

How cool must that be to go to Indonesia and to climb a mountain! How does it feel? Well… I hope you have a great trip and all the luck be with you…
I wish I could be with you, because I’d love to see the world before I die… and Indonesia would be lovely!! Lucky you. ;)
